| Issue: | The manufacturer has become aware that the Central Water Plant (CWP) 800 Systems has an incorrect wiring configuration of the electrical heater component. The incorrect wiring of the electrical heater bypasses the heater thermal protection, which causes the CWP system to be unable to disengage the power supply to the heater in the event the water is heated over a certain temperature. To comply with clause 4.7 of the IEC 60601-1 standards, which states that the Medical Electrical equipment shall be so designed and manufactured that it remains single fault safe. |
