22 July 2010: Notice to put into effect changes recommended by the Medicines Classification Committee at its 43rd meeting on Tuesday 13 April 2010. This notice shall come into force on 1 May 2011.

The most recent update to the First Schedule to the Medicines Regulations, Medicines Amendment Regulations 2009, came into effect on 7 August 2009. Please note that Gazette notices published after 7 August 2009 need to be taken into account when seeking the classification of a medicine. The Schedule of Classifications on this site provides the current classification status of all scheduled medicines.
